Dr. Matthew Bromwich is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and Audiology at the University of Ottawa with staff privileges at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Dr. Bromwich is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada specializing in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ENT). He completed his residency training at the University of Western Ontario and sub-specialized in Pediatric ENT at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio.

Dr. Bromwich has over 14 years of leadership experience in medical research, policy, and technology. He has published his research in the areas of Pediatric Surgery, Telemedicine, Active Noise Cancellation Audiometry, and BPPV amongst others. He has successfully authored multiple technology transfer grants and has been awarded the PSI Research Award (2006), the CSCI Research Award (2006), and the Scientific Achievement Award (2007) from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Bromwich was also awarded the Stars in Global Health Award (2013) from the Government of Canada. He holds 4 patents and he and his team have succeeded in being granted over $2,500,000 in technology development and research funding since 2009. He is a member of the Ontario Medical Association (OMA), Canadian Medical Association (CMA), American College of Surgeons (ACS), Canadian Society of Otolaryngology (CSO) and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). He is the founder and current chief medical officer at Clearwater Clinical Limited.

Michael Weider

Michael has over 20 years of experience as a software entrepreneur. Michael has founded two startups, Watchfire and Blaze, which were acquired by IBM and Akamai respectively. He sits on the board of four startups, advises two venture funds and is also an active angel investor. Michael is also a board member of the Youth Services Bureau Charitable Foundation of Ottawa.
Jon Chatburn

Jon has over 10 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the medical technology field. He was previously the Director of Sales at DNA Genotek and was VP of Sales at Healthwave. Jon holds a B.Sc.in Biology, and M.Sc. in Respiratory Physiology from the University of British Columbia.

Julian is a software development veteran with 20 years of experience. He has worked in diverse industries including robotics, networking, enterprise systems, and mobile medical devices. Julian has held senior software development and team lead roles at ADP and Wind River as well as at numerous successful technology startups. In addition to co-founding Clearwater, Julian now directs product and technology development.
Gina Stefanelli

Gina brings more than 20 years of technology marketing experience to the position at Clearwater Clinical. She joins the company from IBM where she led the worldwide digital marketing strategy for the Security Division. Prior to IBM, she was Director of Marketing for Watchfire (acquired by IBM) where she led the demand generation and communications strategy.
Siegurd Webber

Sieg is a seasoned technical leader with more than 25 years of software industry experience. He brings to Clearwater Clinical a proven track record of building successful global teams and has been a founding member and architect in a variety of start-ups across industries that include mobile payments, embedded image processing, RFID, sensor middleware, and a hardware accelerated Class 5 VOIP switch.

Sieg holds a Masters Degree in Digital Signal Processing from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware, USA and an Engineering Degree in High-Frequency Technology from FH Mannheim, Germany.

Renée Lefrançois

Renée is a licensed Audiologist and the Director of Products for SHOEBOX Audiometry, a division of Clearwater Clinical. In this role, Renée is responsible for all aspects of product planning, education, and support for SHOEBOX, our clinically validated portable iPad audiometer.
Sam LimBoard Member
Sam has over 15 years of experience in general management and strategy. He has developed a successful track record in helping global multi-billion dollar companies as well as start-ups develop and implement strategies for new product development, market entry, and growth. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management.
Dr. Alp SenerVP Research
Alp is Urologist and Transplant Surgeon at University of Western Ontario. Alp also holds roles as Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Urology, Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, Director, Renal Transplant Fellowship Program and Chair, Surgical Research Committee, Department of Surgery, UWO.
